Okay, I think this is how I'm going to work it. Many thanks to everyone for their suggestions. We'll open up bidding at the bottom (my feet) sometime today and mostly work our way up over the next week or so. I'll save tits and ass for last. If there's a body part not on this list that you'd like to sponsor, then please email me (LJ redirect is on my info page) or make your move in comments. If you really want to get a jump on a particular body part (oh, the innuendo! it burns!), then I suppose that would be okay too.
Bidding will take place here and by email -- I'll update the entry to show leaders and dollar amounts as necessary. Many thanks in advance to everyone who will have to be patient with me. Once there's a winner for each body part, you'll have about 3 days to make your donation through my 3-Day fundraising web page. I'll make arrangements with folks to decorate the body part they're sponsoring, as well as negotiate public acclaim and harassment as appropriate, as walk day approaches. I'm happy to keep your donation anonymous if you prefer, but I will need to know who you are (mostly to avoid squick in my metaphysical space).
NOTE: Offers to serve on my "pit crew" will be entertained at a later date.
Thanks for your trust and your support. Friends of breasts the world 'round applaud you. It's worth saying again that this activity is my own idea, conceived in love and humor, and is not necessarily endorsed by the 3-Day. XO

Date: 2006-04-14 05:24 pm (UTC)Are you averse to external bidders, then?
It's all good.
Date: 2006-04-14 07:45 pm (UTC)I can respect the desire of donors to remain anonymous if they wish, but *I'll* have to know who they are in order to make sure their wishes are honored...if that makes any sense. (It's one of those "donor intent and privace" things that I affirm and promote as part of my profession anyway.)
