One of those days

I'm officially feeling, as my father-in-law would say, "puny." Sore throat, stiff neck, aching bones, and that sort of prickly feeling to my skin as if I'm on the verge of a fever. Starving, craving naps like nobody's business. It made me very sad to bow out of last night's b-day bash for redbelle27...but whatever this is, nobody would have thanked me for bringing it to the party, you know?

I've actually managed to get quite a bit done and have a good day of it, in 10- to 15-minute bursts, with lots of staring into space and shuffling papers in between. :) Princess !Kaboom is off at a lock-in sleepover thing with her gymnastics teammates and I have to pick her up at 7 a.m. Eek. And PB has a buddy sleeping over here. Me, I'll crawl into bed real soon now...just wanted to say "hi" for a minute.
