Yesterday was Anti-Procrastination Day. I did my best to keep it holy, and even introduced my Eager Intern Kirby to the concept. When I do Anti-Procrastination Day well, it means that Thursday greets me with a relatively clear desk...except for the really awful stuff I was REALLY procrastinating on. Harsh, that. I'm in brochure purgatory for the next few days. Also, I'm overflowing with judeo-christian metaphors. (sigh)

I think I totally need to spend some time with my planner now. And maybe put out some feelers for freelance work. Yeah. That's the ticket.

Plus, my shelves are dusty. Gotta clean those.

In other news: The red dress I'm wearing -- [livejournal.com profile] kittenpants might remember it as my "honorary Maenad dress" -- is fitting nice and slinky-loose these days. Trouble is, the darn thing is so old that the underarm seams are starting to look, well...old. It looks to be a simple pattern to replicate. Someday soon, it may be time to disassemble this baby and create a new one. But first, I must repair the Skirt Whose Ass Blew Out. (long story)

And hey. I have a single line from a song in my head today, which is driving me crazy. "Hello, happy happiness." It's a man's voice and the song is not new. A cursory googlewhack did not turn it up. Any ideas? (By the way, this song I'm listening to now is pretty rockin'.)

The Pandora report. First off, many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] akaashben for directing me there, even though I think other folks have mentioned it before.

Brick House radio seems to be settling into a predictably marvelous groove. So far, I've liked every Breakestra song I've heard and it seems like I'm clicking "thumbs up" on at least 60% of the songs they throw my way. Some of my very favorite songs also come up in the rotation now -- you know, the ones I told them I liked so we could start the process -- about once a day.

When Did You Fall radio is sort of struggling, but some really lovely pieces have shown up. They can't seem to figure out that I don't want Gospel or Celine Dion.

Serenity radio has introduced to me a *lot* of stuff I haven't heard before, and it's awesome. I've like almost everything I've heard from Finger Eleven, and I don't think I can recall hearing but one of their songs before...ever. This is the station where I'm most likely not to vote on something at all, unless I feel very strongly about it.
