I've been inspired by the upcoming Winter Olympics to get back to some serious training again. It's high time I made a comeback and started contending for a spot on the Olympic Sleeping Team. Childbearing really took me out of competition...but if I start now, then I should be in great shape for the next round.

Yesterday, I was so tired that I went to bed shortly after the little girls and was well and truly zonked by 8:30 p.m. (Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] agrnmn and Princess Boredom for the indulgence.) Even with only having to get up twice in the night, I was still greedy for more sleep when the alarm went off at 7:30 a.m. Could've rolled over and slept for hours longer. :)

Yup, still got it.

Sure, I need a cut and a color. That's not the problem. The problem is that I cannot manage my hair at all this week. I can get through a work day and even manage some household chores just fine, but just getting it washed and rinsed in the shower with my shoulder the way it is makes me want to scream. In fact, showering and toweling myself dry makes me dizzy with pain. This, from a woman who's been through childbirth without meds.

And drying my hair? Brushing or combing it? Styling it? No fecking way. And I hate hats, so don't suggest one. I need a cabana boy, please, to come brush and braid my hair for me. Or just to shave the stuff off. ::whimper::

EDIT: Roller Derby is also getting popular again, just as I'm getting too old and crunchy to be a star. That seriously bums me out.
