Just to add a few more channels to mydiabolical communications plan, I wanted to post here a notice for Gaia Community's ritual this coming Sunday. Yes, in the Great Big World, this will be Mother's Day...except our ritual isn't really about Motherhood or the Moms who may or may not be present.
We're having a rave of sorts -- a ritual in dance and movement and rhythm to honor the five-fold goddess in all Her forms: Maiden, Mother, Crone, Warrior and Lover. Maybe you relate to them as separate goddesses. Or as aspects of one Lady. Perhaps they're even simply representations of the feminine in our poly-agnostic universe.
This is a ritual to say "wow" and "thanks" and to show that we're growing up good. If you enjoy dancing, be ready to sweat. If you don't, then please come anyway -- there will be plenty of other ways you can add to the rhythm and energy for our work of the day. In any case, be ready to participate!
As part of our celebration, all undesignated donations collected with the May 8th offering will combine to make a gift to a local women's charity (to be announced on Sunday).
